Cloaking is bad for search engine optimization. Many people do cloaking and they think that they can make search engine fool easily but at starting, it may search engine bot believes on your page but finally, it will be ban your page completely. You might have heard about Google Bans cloaking pages.

What is cloaking?
Example: – If you made page A having “Car” Content and you have fixed it into your Meta to show Google bot, and you are showing something different to your user like “some illegal content or etc”. It is cloaking.

Means, you are showing different page to your user and different page to Google Bot.

It is bad because it is violence according to Google Quality Guidelines. Therefore don’t do cloaking.
